Thanks to our good friends at @raywhitecarolinesprings, we present our inaugural Lakers 7s Tournament and Annual Raffle/Auction night for 2024! Both events will take place on Sunday, December 10th 2023, commencing with the Lakers 7s Tournament at 1pm followed by the Raffle/Auction Night. The Lakers 7s tournament is an AFL7s tournament made up of juniors, seniors, male and female teams. The round robin tournament will see teams in varying age brackets compete against each other for the Ray White Cup, with funds raised on the day donated to the nominated charities, which will be announced closer to the date. We’re on the lookout for male and female players to compete in the following mixed teams: 7-10 years old 11-14 years old 15-17 years old 18-Seniors Masters 40+ Players can secure their spot by booking through the following link: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1141179 Each age group will have four teams, supported by our friends at @raywhitecarolinesprings, Sabai Gai Thai Massage, @guzmanygomez Caroline Springs and @carolinespringsmusic. Entry to the competition is $10 which includes a team t-shirt. Players will be allocated to teams via a draft which will occur closer to the tournament date. The Annual Raffle will take place later that evening, with a brand new Kia Picanto up for grabs, amongst many other great prizes! Ticket holders will have dinner plus beer, wine and soft drink included on the night from 5pm until 8pm. Tickets are priced at $100 and can be purchased at training or by direct contact to our social media pages or to committee members. The night will also include our annual auction, which is always an exciting event for those in attendance! And to top it all off, we’ll have a special visit from Santa to send off the year 🎅 This is set to be a HUGE day for the Lakers! Caroline Springs Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Reserves Men’s Coach for 2024. This a remunerated position. CSFC is affiliated with the Western Region Football League (WRFL) and in its short history has developed a reputation as a high performing organisation. Based in the growth corridor west of Melbourne, we have a strong junior program, which has gone from strength to strength, fielding teams in all age groups of the WRFL including a healthy Auskick program. Coming off a grand final appearance in 2023, the Reserves men’s team has been a regular finals competitor since club promotion to Div 1 in 2017. CSFC is looking for a motivated coach that will work closely with the Senior Coach & Football Director to drive a high-performance culture through our football department. You will be supported by a dedicated Executive Committee and be given the support needed to ensure success. You will not only be responsible for the club's on field performance, but also driving the club’s values and culture as well as being an active member in the community, representing the club and assisting the committee with its strategic plans.
